Buildertrend's own Procore comparison frames it: "Procore is known for its commercial contractor features, and Buildertrend specializes in supporting the small to medium-sized" residential builder. Its product overview calls it a "residential construction management platform".
Each reaches into the other's market. Procore's residential page says it can help manage "single-family homes, multi-family homes, apartments, condominiums (condos), townhouses" and more. Buildertrend says it can handle "less complex commercial projects" such as retail, restaurants and multifamily.
How each is priced
Procore's pricing page charges "an upfront annual fee by product" based on annual construction volume, the total dollar value of the construction work across your projects. Users, data and 24/7 support are unlimited. No figure is published; see how much Procore costs.
Buildertrend's pricing page, as archived on February 28, 2026, listed Essential at $499 a month ($449 paid annually), Advanced at $799 ($719) and Complete at $1,099 ($989). - You want tier prices on the pricing page and QuickBooks or Xero on the starting plan.
- Your commercial work, if any, is lighter: restaurant, office and retail buildouts.
Where Conflo fits
Conflo, our product, is a third option for small and mid-size commercial GCs. It publishes its prices on its pricing page (free for one active project, $599 a month for up to five, $1,499 for up to fifteen), charges only the GC by active project with unlimited users, and puts trade bids, submittals and pay apps with retainage on every plan. It has no homeowner portal or selections, so it isn't for residential builders, and it is opening to companies from a waitlist.
