Construction punch list software
A punch list that closes when the work is right.
Walk the site and log items one after another against the company responsible. The sub starts the work and marks it fixed with a note. The GC verifies it and closes it, or sends it back with the reason, and every step stays on the item's history.

Punch list
Every open item with a location, a photo and the sub who owns it.
Punch list
Every open item with a location, a photo and the sub who owns it.
What it does
Logged by the GC, fixed by the sub, verified before it closes.
Built for the walk
Save an item and the form stays open with the same location filled in, so you can log the next item in the room without starting over.
Assigned to a company
Each item goes to a company on the project and picks up that company's trade. Set a location, a priority and a due date on the same form.
Fixed means the sub says so
The sub starts an item, then marks it ready for review with a note on what they did. A fix can't be submitted without one.
Verify or send it back
The GC closes a fixed item or rejects it with the reason it's still wrong. Each rejection is counted on the item, so repeat callbacks are visible.
Work-first ordering
Overdue items come first, then by priority, then by the soonest due date. Tabs split open, ready for review, overdue and closed.
Subs see only their own items
A sub sees and comments on the items assigned to their company, not the rest of the list. Every create, start, fix, verify, rejection and comment is kept on the item.
How it works
Step by step.
From the first step to the final record.
Step 1
Log the item
Say what's wrong, where it is, who fixes it, the priority and the due date. Save and add the next one.
Step 2
The sub works it
The responsible company starts the item and marks it fixed with a note describing the fix.
Step 3
The GC verifies
Check the work and close the item, or reject it back to open with what's still wrong.
Step 4
Reopen if needed
A closed item can be reopened if the problem comes back, with the history intact.
Who uses it
Built for the whole project team.
Everyone on the job works in the same record — each sees what their role allows.
General contractors
Logs items, assigns them to companies, verifies fixes, rejects work that isn't done and reopens items when needed.
Subcontractors
Sees the items assigned to their company, starts them, marks them fixed and comments.
Owners
Follows the whole list and where each item stands as the project nears completion.
Architects & engineers
Follows open and closed items and adds comments.
Questions
Punch list, answered.
What are the punch item statuses?
Open, in progress, ready for review and closed. The sub moves an item to in progress and ready for review; only the GC can close it, reject it back to open, or reopen it.
Can subcontractors see other subs' punch items?
No. A sub sees only the items assigned to their own company. The GC, owner and design team see the full list.
What does a sub need to mark an item fixed?
A note describing the fix. The GC reviews it before the item closes.
How do we see which subs need repeat visits?
Every rejection is counted on the item and shown in the list, so items that came back more than once stand out.
Is the punch list available during closeout?
Yes. The punch list appears in both the Construction and Closeout modules, so the same list carries through to the end of the job.
