Construction warranty claim management software

Warranty claims, from the building to the sub who fixes them.

After closeout, Warranty lists every job still under warranty and how long until it's out. The owner reports a claim in the app, or anyone at the building scans the job's QR code and reports it without an account. The claim suggests the responsible company from the job's warranty records; the GC confirms and sends it, the sub schedules and repairs it, and the owner confirms the fix.

What it does

Warranty claims from the building to the sub who fixes them.

Every job under warranty

One list of closed-out jobs with the date each goes out of warranty, the next warranty to expire and the open claims.

A QR code at the building

Print the job's code and post it. Anyone on site reports what's wrong, where and how urgent, with photos, no account needed.

Routed from the warranty records

The claim suggests the company that stands behind the warranty; the GC confirms or changes it, then sends it.

Response clocks

Emergency, urgent and routine claims each have a respond-by time, shown on the list and the claim, red once it passes.

Subs see only their own

A subcontractor sees only the claims sent to its company, and loses one the moment it's reassigned.

The whole job, one click away

From a job's warranty page, open its drawings, documents, RFIs, submittals and closeout package.

How it works

Step by step.

From the first step to the final record.

  1. Step 1

    Report

The owner logs a claim in the app, or someone at the building scans the QR code and sends the form.

  2. Step 2

    Triage

The GC sees the suggested company, confirms or changes it and sends the claim, or declines it with a reason.

  3. Step 3

    Repair

The sub schedules a visit and marks it repaired with a photo or a note.

  4. Step 4

    Confirm

The owner confirms the fix, or sends it back as not fixed to the same sub.

Questions

Warranty, answered.

Does someone need an account to report a claim?

No. The job's QR code opens a form anyone at the building can send; it asks for a name and a phone number or email.

Who decides which sub gets the claim?

The GC. The claim suggests the company from the job's warranty records, and the GC confirms or picks another before sending it.

Can a repaired claim close on its own?

Only if the GC company turns on auto-close: a repaired claim the owner hasn't answered closes after 14 days. It's off by default.
